Nexant is pleased to offer a workshop on How to Align Distributed Energy Resources with Grid Value, in conjunction with the National Town Meeting.

A rapidly growing challenge for grid planning and operations is the integration of distributed energy resources, including demand response, energy efficiency, solar, battery storage, combined heat and power plants, and fuel cells. Deciding when and where distributed energy resources should be deployed to offset the need for transmission and distribution investments requires 1) a micro-level understanding of resource requirements; and 2) a framework for valuing resources with wide ranging characteristics on a comparable basis. In this workshop, key experts and utility representatives will provide timely, practical guidance on how to address this growing challenge.

Registration for How to Align Distributed Energy Resources with Grid Value Workshop includes the workshop to be held from 1:00-5:30pm on May 26th as well as the Town Meeting Welcome Reception from 5:30-7:30pm. It does not include admission to the National Town Meeting on May 26th through 28th. To register for the National Town meeting, visit http://www.smartgridtownmeeting.com/registration/ and you can add the workshop as an option in your registration process.
